Legal Status of the IBM Alumni Australia Inc.

  • At a Special General Meeting held on Sunday 26 May 2024, the members unanimously agreed to change the Club’s Constitution.
  • The revised Constitution was submitted to Consumer Affairs Victoria on 30 May 2024 and was approved that same day: Constitution
  • The registered name of the Association is now: IBM Alumni Australia Inc.
  • The Registration Number remains unchanged: A0103661O

Relationship to IBM

IBM Quarter Century Clubs and Alumni Associations are not entities of IBM Corporation, IBM Australia Limited, IBM Global Services Australia Limited nor of any other affiliated IBM company.  They are autonomous social clubs formed, operated, and financed by Club members entirely for their own purposes.

Terms of Use

Termination

IBM Alumni Australia Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the IBM Alumni Australia Inc. website (the “Service”).

The IBM Alumni Australia website stores certain personal information about each member’s membership of the Club.  This includes your name, contact details, QCC Induction Date, and membership status.  Rest assured that we only collect the necessary information for membership purposes, and we do not share it with third parties without your explicit consent.

Options for Privacy Control

If you wish to keep your membership data private, we provide options for you to control your privacy settings.  You can login to your account on the IBM Alumni Australia website and view your online profile.  You can then update your privacy settings, if you wish.

Please note that unless you change your privacy settings, your user profile will be visible to other IBM Alumni Australia Members.

How to Adjust Your Privacy Settings

  1. You first need to login to the IBM Alumni Australia website with your website username/email address and password: https://ibmalumni.org.au/pm_login/
  2. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it here: https://ibmalumni.org.au/members/pm_forgot_password/
  3. View your User Profile using this link: https://ibmalumni.org.au/members/pm_profile/
    (Please take this opportunity to check your contact details and make any updates that may be needed.)
  4. Select Settings and then select Privacy.
  5. There are 2 privacy settings:
    1. Profile Privacy. This enables you to choose which groups can view your profile.
    2. Hide My Profile From Groups, Directories and Search Results: This enables you to hide your profile from everyone.
  6. Once you’ve changed your settings, press the Submit button.
