This GSD meeting was part of the campaign with a “think BIG” theme.
This was in the IBM System/3 era, 1976 or 1977, as a precursor to the radical IBM System/38
then in its last few years of development, and announced in October 1978, leading on to
the highly successful IBM AS/400 and iSeries and System i over following decades,
